Andrea Laszlo earned a MFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute and a BA in French and Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan. Previously, she studied branding and illustration at California College of the Arts and San Francisco Art Institute.

Working as a multilingual publishing manager, she gained an in-depth understanding of global language barriers. The complexity of written translation is what inspired her to study visual communication.

She is passionate about how design can be used as a tool for building communities, social action, storytelling, as well as envisioning and imagining the future. She is currently living in New York City.
